ANOTHER GOOD SHAKE
TWO TOWNS AFFECTED
POPULACE UNPERTURBED.
WATER SUPPLY RESTORED
(Per Press Association. —Copyright.) WESTPORT, This Day. Last night, Westport got another good shake at 9.23 o’clock. Although a shake at 12,10 a.m. yesterday was a heavy and sustained one, it is surprising how many people slept right through it and evidently the earthquakes have lost their terror, even though they come in the night.
The 14-inch water main, which was badly damaged by the big earthquake on .Tune 17 has beep completely restored. The restoration included the , laying of many new pipes. Completion of this work gives Westport a supply and pressure of water possessed by few, if any. other towns and removes all danger of big fires.
People arc. breathing again freely. Fortunately, during the whole time when ithe water supply was cut off and water was only obtainable through 8-indi pipes, no fires occurred. At Groymouth, a sharp shock of earthquake was felt at 5.20 o’clock last night.
