MRS A. MORGAN
The death or-furred on duly NS, nr th’o.'residence of her son Harry, of Mrs Amelia .Morgan, widow of the late Mr ,T. W. Morgan, of Water Street. She was, in failing health for a great number of years and had just attained SI years. S ( he came to New Zealand in 1872 and lived in Wairoa (H. 8.) for 94'.years and. in Napier for five years, and in 1919 eame north and settled in Whangaroi until the time of her death. She leaves an adult family of Jive sons and five daughters. The sons arc Mr John Henry Morgan, of Maunu Road; Mr Thomas Morgan, Kumcroa; Mr George Morgan, Dannevirke; Mr William Morgan, Cambridge; and Mr Henry Morgan, Otaika. The daughters are Mrs M. R. Gavin, Whangaroi; Mrs 'C. Brown, Napier; Airs J. Matson, Chatham Islands; Mrs A. Charters, Kaponga; and Airs Pullen, Mahoe. Airs'Morgan was a ■ lady of very kindly disposition and was loved and respected by all who know her. The Rev. H. T. Steele officiated at the ! graveside.

AUCKLAND, This Day,
OnC of Auckland’s oldest and most respected citizens, Henry Bruce ALorton, died on Saturday aged 83, at his residence One Tree Hill. He was founder of the Ann of H. E Aforton and Company which for nearly 00 years carried on a general merchant business and shipping agency in the city. He will be remomlborod chiefly for-participation in public affairs and literary excursions, in which he employed ‘ extensive first-hand knowledge of New Zealand history and politics.

CAMBRIDGE, This Day.
On Saturday afternoon, at her daughter's' residence, Hamilton, the (JcaJ.h occurred of Mrs 'fane Wells, of Ganjbridge, reli'ct of the late Thomas Wells, aged 8(3 years. Deceased was horn in Cornwall, England, and came out to New Zealand as a young woman. She was married to Mr Wells at the Thames about .66 years ago and lived in. Cambridge all her --married life. As the wife of the late' Thomas Wells, oner of the fathers of Cambridge', deceased was known far and wide throughout the Dominion. She enjoyed wonderful health until six weeks ago. 'She leaves a family .of two daughters, Airs Norman Campbell, Wanganui and Airs Reece, Hamilton and.one son, Air Alorvyn. Wells, Cambridge and nine grand-children.
