TONIGHT AT LYCEUM. ‘'Prep and Pep M is a comedy-drama of youth, and particularly of one youth who achieves honour through sheer grit and' the will to win. The scenes are mainly set in surroundings of a famous military school. Several scenes are wildly exciting, such as the charge of the “rough riders” (crack students) to reach the burning prairie and the rescue of Dorothy. David as Cyril Reade, accomplishes thrilling feats. ‘ Nancy Drexel plays Dorothy with fascinating chic. John Darrow plays “Plash,” the star athlete, who scents a rival in Reade and provokes trials of skill, in which Reade gets the worst. How he set himself to recover and make good is the story and the motive —the girl in the case —charming Nancy, the commandant’s daughter. The supports to this attractive feature include “The Collegians.”
