G, Hazlett; committee, Messrs. J. A. Ainge, W. J. Goughian, A. H. Fisher, J, Smith, Dr. K. Ross. The chairman expressed confidence in securing lower taxation shortly, in place of the present 'burden, which was very heavy on clubs. It was decided to appoint not less than four patrol stewards' for each race meeting, to act under the stipendiary steward or judicial committee appointed for eaeh meeting.
