FRIENDLY SOCIETIES’ BALL

A big attendance of delegates to the Friendly .(Societies’ Ball Committee meeting ou Friday night was presided over by Bro. B. J. Hardie. The secretary Bro. M, Dick, opened tenders for the catering and music, for which iMessrs Manson, and CunningJiam’s orchestra were the respective t successful tenderers. The (ball will be held in the Criterion Theatre on July 5, and the precedence of leaders in the Grand March was decided by ballot. A sub-committee was appointed to draw up a programme to be submitted to next meeting. A rehearsal of the Grand March will be held ou a date to be arranged by the secretary.
