(From Our Own Correspondent.) BUTTER FACTORY. The directors of the Kaikolie Co-op-erative Dairy Company have accepted the tender of Mr H. C. Curlett, land, for the erection Of the new factory. The contractor, with a gang of men, is on the ground, and started operations. 'The building is to (be ready on August 1. CYCLING CLUB. The Kaikohc Cycling Club held their initial run for trophies. The coinmitte have boon fortunate in having been .presented by their patron, Mr A. Admoro, with a silver cup for a. points prize for the season’s runs for the seniors. A medal is allotted as a junior points, prize. Mr F, King presented the first prize for the seniors’ race. The distance was about (>;} miles along the Mangakahia Road to the Ngapuhi station access road and back. Results: 'Seniors—W. Hynson (omiu), 1; W. ,J, Haines (omin), 2; T. Jordan (3miu .15sec), 3. Also started: L. Roberts, W. Nepia, F. Eisenhnt, H. Jackson, E. Bell, C. Hoka, A. Hui, J. Pera, 0. D. Hows. Time —23min. The fastest time was-put up by the scratch rider, L.
