MARKETING TIMBER
MERGER OF MILL OWNERS.
OPERATES FROM JUNE
(Per Press Association.—Copyright.} HAMILTON, This Day. Eighty per cent of the timber companies in the Rotorua and Main Trunk regions completed the formation of a marketing merger embracing over 50 mills. All the larger concerns joined and the headquarters will be located at Hamilton. The merger will sell all the timber output of the members from June 1 and the- now standard of grading and classification of timber, recommended by the Government Committee, will be introduced.
