MARATHON RUNNING

FIFTH WIN FOR FERRIS. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 19. Corporal Ferris, of the Royal Air Force, for the fifth successive year has won the Polytechnic Marathon, Windsor to London, in 2hr 40min 47 2-ssec. The Finland Olympic representative, Laaksonen, was second in 2hr 43min 48sec.
