May will be eclipsed this year, as to date, 9.31 inches have been recorded, rain falling on 14 days/ Over ’fialif an inch was registered for’ the 24 hours ended 9 o ’clock this morning, while the barometer and thermometer stood at 30.02 and 58 repectively af * the same hour.
