CAPTAIN DEWER PROMOTED. (Australian Press Association,) LONDON, April 19. Tlio list of naval appointments published today contains the* following; Captain K. CL B. Dewer to t'hc Iron Duke, in command, to date from May 11. Captain Dewar was concerned in the court-martial in connection with the complaints against the commander of the Royal Oak, Rear-Admiral G. Bt. B. Collard. Both he and Commander Daniel were reprimanded and dismissed. Captain Dewar was appointed to command the battle-cruiser Tiger in September, an act of grace which was said at the ,time to be without precedent.
