MAORI CRIMINALS
TWO MEN SENTENCED. (Per Press Association. —Copyright.) AUCKLAND, This Day. At the Supremo Court this morning Mr Justice Kennedy sentenced two Maoris, Kahe Matepo, of Whakatane, on a charge of carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of 16, to two years ’ hard labour, and Wiremu Tepune, aged 24, for breaking and entering, to two years’ reformative treatment.
