VALUES AT FRANKTON.

(Special to “Northern Advocate.”) HAMILTON, This Day. At the Frankton stock sale- yesterday, a good yarding of beef came forward. Prime quality steers showed a slight increase in value, while cows were very firm at la,te rates. There was a large yarding of sheep, which sold on a par with last week. Quotations: — Heavy fat steers, £l3 to £l4 19s; lighter fat steers, £l2 10s to £l3; nine extra choice light prime steers, on account of Mr- H. iS. Hawkins, averaged £l2 4/; a pen of heavy steers, on account of Mr W. Willoughby, of Kaipaki, averaged £l4 14/; heavy fat cows, £9 11/ (to £lO 16/; lighter, £8 10/ to '£10; fresh conditioned, £6 1/ to £7; store, cows, £5 10/; fat wethers, 30/ to 31/; forward store wethers, 27/9 to 28/10; fat ewes, 23/6; fat lambs, heavy, 29/ to 30/9; lighter, 27/5; yearling Jersey heifers, £4 2/6 (to £4 7/6; yearling steers, £4 2/6; bulls, .£5 10/; springing heifers, close to. profit, £7 15/ to £B. 15/; backward, £6 15/ to £7 10/.
