ALLEGATIONS TO BE SIFTED. (Per Press Association. —Copyright.) DANNE.VIRK.E, This Day. Investigation of the pre-election allegations concerning the safety of the. Arapuni dam is to bo undertaken by the Minister of Public Works, tho Hon E. A. Ransom, who, if he considers it warranted, will have a Royal Commission set up. He also proposes to investigate the possibility of engaging unemployed to clear some of the pumice lands, with a view to it being cut up for settlement later.
