BIH INCREASE IN EXPORTS

A remarkable increase in exports from New Zealand to the United States for November is reported by the American Consulate in Wellington,
The value of the commodities for which invoices were certified by the American Consular officers in Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin was 2,060,290 dollars '(£32-5,600), an increase of 1,383,978 dollars (£285,800) over November last year. The notable increases are: Butter £37,200, frozen meat £51,600, greasy wool £36,500, calfskins £12,000, cheese £12,000, hemp £IO,OOO, kauri gum £9,000, grass seed £3,000, slipe wool £4,600, pelts £7,200. December exports, to .date, also show a favourable increase.
