AMUSEMENTS
LYCEUM TONIGHT.
| “Finders Keepers’* stars a vivacious favourite, Laura La Plante. The story is by Mary Roberts Reinhart. A Camp Commandant’s daughter falls in love with a private and they decide to let the camp Chaplain marry them. Embarkation orders are issued and all “civilians” excluded 'from the camp, but Barbara, not to be daunted, dons a uniform to gain entry to the camp. In the subsequent parades, her “inexperience” brings down upon her the flowery rhetoric of the sergeant, and matters reach a climax when her horrified father recognises the inefficient recruit. Her lover is sent overseas before they can marry, but everything turns out happily i when the war is over. A Press notice says this picture is a war-time comedy with riotously amusing fooling by Laura La Plante masquerading as a private. Her most sparkling j picture to date. Excellent all-round i portrayal and splendid, amusing en-j tertainment.
