, NEW SOUTH WALES MEETING (Australian Press Association.) (Received 3.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 10. At the rifle meeting, in the Jamieson Match, 800 yards, two men, P'oyitt (Sydney) and Hutchins (Yorkshire),, with the possible shared first places. Mdver (Petone) and Yennell (Maserton) were sixteenth and thirtieth respectively, each with 48, taking £l. In the Johnnie Walker Match, 900 yards, three competitors, James, Cameron and Suttor, all of New South Wales, tied with 49 each. Yennell was eighty-sixth and Mdver ninetieth; each with 44, taking £l. In the Motion Match, 400yds, four tied with 49 each, the best being Davies (Victoria) and Natt (South Australia). There were no New Zealand-
The Longfield Aggregate was won by James (Parramatta), with 270 out of a possible 300.
In the Long Field Aggregate, which was for six matches on Monday and Tuesday, Vcncll was fourth, with 269, taking £4. The Dodds Aggregate, for three matches on Tuesday, was won by Major James, of Concord, .with 141. Mdver was twentieth, with 136, and Yennell fifty-first, with 133, each taking £l. THE KING’S PRIZE. (Australian Press Association.) (Received 2.15 p.m.) ■SYDNEY, This Day. The Prince of Wales Match, which forms the first stage of the King’s Prize (300, 500 and 600 yards) was won by Charlton (Queenbeyan), He scored 102 out of a possible 105. Woodward, of Melbourne, was the best of five scores with 101.
