PRISONERS SENTENCED,

AUCKLAND, This Day,
At the -Supreme Court, John Leslie Buckley was sentenced by Mr Justice Reed to three years’ gaol with hard labour on a charge of breaking, entering and theft at Taumarunui, concurrent with the present .sentence. Buekloy is now serving accumulative sentences of seven years, Janies Davis, alias John Gibbs, of Hastings, was declared an habitual criminal and sentenced to two years’ imprisonment with hard labour for breaking, entering and theft at Tc Awamutu and Auckland.
