PRICE OF BENZINE
ROBBERY ALLEGED. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) HAMILTON, This Day. “This is not profit; it is robbery,” said Dr, A. J. Waddell, when crieieising benzine prices at a meeting of the Hamilton Automobile Association last night. He said that benzine sold for Is in England and cost just twice that amount here. New Zealand was no further from the producing field where the price had been declining while the local price was rising. The meeting discussed the South Canterbury plan of the co-pperative buying of benzine and decided to 'send an inquiry to the headquarters of the association at Auckland.
