Following the annual sheep show, the Sydney stud sales have now be-
gun. One special merino sire, from the Hay district was bought by a South African, Mr J. Groblcr, for 1200 guineas; another from the Boonoke stud realised l lOd guineas and another from Haddon Rig 1100 guineas. Altogether 110 rams made an average of £2OB 12/,
