BUTTER PAYOUTS
MATAKANA AND NORTHERN WAIROA. Paying at the rate of Is 3|d*per lb for finest, the Matakana Dairy Company distributed £1742 12s 4d for its April output, against £1696 6s fid for the same month last year, when the price was Is o£d per lb. The total payout for the present season to date has been £24,851 8s Id, compared with £22,164 Is 4d for the corresponding period last year. The Northern Waiiroa Dairy Company payout last month, at Is 3d per lb urns £14,730 19s sd, against £13,503 Os 8d for April last season, when the price was Is. For the season to date the total amount distributed has been' £219,105 15s, an increase of £29,760 14s 8d on the corresponding period of the previous season.
