BODY FOUND ON GOLF LINKS

MYSTERIOUS OCCURRENCE

SYDNEY, This Day

The dead body of Daniel Thompson, aged id, who resided with his parents at The Pines, Condaraine Street, North Manly, was found lying on the grass of the Manly golf links recently.

There were no marks of violence on the body, and so far the police have not discovered any circumstances to suggest that his death was not due to natural causes. A post-mortem examination is to be made to decide the cause of death.

The lad appeared to be in perfect health some hours before his death. He was one of the most popular caddies at the links, and had not made any complaint of feeling unwell The police have not yet located anybody who saw the boy between the time of his arrival at the links and the finding of his body some distance from the golf house.
