■' (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Stroup; criticism of the refusal of the Federal Ministry to accept responsibility for the physical condition of

migrants after they have been in Australia for three years was expressed by the Minister of Health (Air Beckett). Mr Beckett said that in the last four years about .100 migrants had been admitted to the State sanatorium and of that number about 2d had had to be deported at the expense of the State. During his recent visit to Sydney, he discussed the matter with' the New South Wales Minister for Health (Hr Arthur), and it had been decided to make joint representation to the Commonwealth Ministry. Air Beckett added that the health of migrants should be a Federal responsibility for at least five years.
