A bill to authorise the holding of a great Australian Exhibition was debated in the House of Representatives. Mr Bruce said that the site selected was Centennial Park, Sydney, in the vicinity of the Royal Show grounds. The exhibition, to be known as the Australian British Empire Exhibition, would be held in 1932.
