Tho Australian cricketers arrived hr tho Marama and were met by Mr D. Reese, chairman of the New Zea«land Cricket Council, Mr C. G, Wilson, chairman of the Wellington Association, and others. The side is:—

captain. W. H. Ponsford (Victoria). W. M. Woodfull (Victoria). A. F. Kippax (N.S.W.), R. M. Oxenham (Queensland). K. Schneider (South Australia). A. Jackson, (N.S.W.), W. C. Alexander (South Australia), D. M. Blackie (Victoria). C. V. Grimmett (South Australia). F. L, Morton (Victoria). W. A. Oldfield (N.S.W.). R. MeNamee (N.S.W.). Mr, W. C. Bull is manager. The latter is a member of the Australian Board of Control and one of the executive of the New South Wales Association. A civic, reception is being tendered at the Town Hall at 4.45 pan. The opening match of tho tour is at Nelson during the next two days. Returning ’to Wellington the team meets a local 'Side in a three-day match. The itinerary has been altered slightly to permit of a short visit to Rotorua after the Poverty Bay match, but the dates of the matches are not affected.—Press Assn,
