MARKETING BOARD

EMPIRE EXPENDITURE.

(Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, February 13.

In the House of Commons, Mr Amery, in reply to a question, said that the expenditure by the Empire Marketing Board from May 26 to January 31 was £377,000, of which £200,000 was used on publicity and the remainder on beohomic’ investigation. The total since inception of the Board was £822,000, mostly on scientific research.—A. and N.Z.
