AN ALLURING CYCLE,
CHRISTCHURCH, This Day,
In the Magistrate’s Court, Edward Helmsley Dawson, for the theft of a motor cycle, was sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment. The senior-sergeant said that accused had just 'done six months for the theft of the same bicycle. The Magistrate, Mr Mosley, said it was impossible to allow probation. The public must bo protected from such thefts. —Press Assn. *
