OBITUARY

L. T. HASELDEN. (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, Th% Day. The death has occurred of L.. T. Haselden, dentist. Deceased was born in Wellington where his father, C. J, A. Haselden, for many years was Under-Secretary of Justice, and was a nephew .of Canon Haselden, the well-known Anglican clergyman. In * his younger days he took to farming life and was employed on some of the largest stations in the Wanganui and Gisborne districts. He was an amateur actor of ability, also a boxer, and later a bowler and yachtsman. Before commencing business in Auckland, where he had a valuable connection, the late Mr Haselden practised at and in other parts of the province. Deceased is survived by a widow, two sons, as well as two sisters and a brothe7, the latter resident in Palmerston North.
