Taylor being polished and Coen impressive. The bowbug and fielding were excellent and compelled 1 tho South Africans to abandon their j forcing policy. Staples’ leg theory also kept down runs. 1 Catterall and Cameron indulged in ! stone-walling (tactics, intent on wearing clown the bowling. Later they 1 scored freely and vigorously all round. The partnership produced 135 runs in 93 minutes for the fifth wicket. Catternll hit two sixes and 14 fours. The batsmen wore completely on top of the tired bowling.
