APPEAL TO BE MADE

WELLINGTON, This Day. Immediate appeals are to be made lo the New Zealand public to contribute £IO,OOO, so that the Dominion may be adequately represented at the Olympic Games at Amsterdam in July and August of this year.

This decision Avas reached at a mooting of flie Council of the Olympic Games Association last night. It is hoped to get the amount by Alarch 10, w'hen the subscription list will be closed. The Council hopes to dispatch a rowing team, totalling 12. It will elude the eight, the cox, a coach and tw r o extra men. The team also Avill include two boxers, tAvo or more athletes and four sAvimmers, together Avith a manager.
