MILITARY CADETSHIPS
OPEN TO NEW ZEALANDERS,
DETAILED CONDITIONS,

The Government is advised that a limited number of cadetships to the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich and the Royal Military College at Sandhurst are availably to young New Zealanders on the nomination of the 0o v evn or-G ell era 1.
Those cadetships are granted for the purpose of training officers for the British regular army, and applications will be considered from only those who wish to make the army their permanent profession in life.
Definite regulations . governing the admission of candidates by nomination to the colleges have been laid down by the Army Councdl, and only those candidates who fulfil these conditions will bo eligible for nomination.
The cadetships are not open to the sons of parents whose connection with Now Zealand is merely temporary or official. The course of instruction lasts 18 months, and the next course begins on September 1. Applications must be in by February 15. Candidates must ho between IS and 19 years of age on July 1. Parents have to pay the cost of the passage to England, fees amounting to £.125 per annum and personal expenses during vacation. —Press Assn.
