Sir Charles Wakefield has announced his intention to donate a Sir Charles Wakefield’s motor speed prize which will be open to drivers of all nations. In addition tc a gold trophy valued at 1000 guineas successful driver will be entitled to £IOOO a year as long as he is unbeaten up to 1930. The trophy is to remain the property of the governing body of the international association of the recognised automobile clubs of the country to which the driy or belongs; also, the driver is to rc ceive an engraved replica. The first contest will be in February at Daytona.—A. and N.Z.
