THE GRACEFUL JABOT.
The jabot is once more in favour and lends a graceful and truly effeminate finish to the afternoon frdck. Newer still is the jabot and collar in one. Carried out in white or patterned georgette or triple ninon with, vandyked edge, it may' be either soft-, ly knotted at the collar ends,. or the join may be concealed with a rosette, or cockade of the material. For a square-necked dress' it is smarter to wear a jabqt without a collar. If the neck be finished with selfcoloured braid laid on, the jabot may be inserted under one of the strips of braid on the left-hand side of the frock. ‘A finely pleated georgette jabot and collar edged with ninny lace supplies an old-world touch to a taffeta frock with bouffart skirt.
