MENACE TO SHEEP
ALSATIAN DOGS UNPOPULAR
(Received 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day.
As a result of Australian woolgrowers' belief that Alsatian dogs are a menace to sheep, the Royal Agricultural Societies of West Australia and New South Wales have decided to delete from their schedules any prizes for this class of dog.
The Commonwealth Government could not see its way clear to agree to a request of the graziers that the Federal Council should prohibit the importation of Alsatian dogs into Australia. —A, and N.Z.
