BROADCASTING DIVINE SERVICE.

(Special to “Northern Advocate.”} AUCKLAND, This Day.’

The Auckland Presbytery resolved.To nominate, as Moderator-Designate of the General Assembly, the Rev. Geo. Budd, superintendent of Missions. The Presbytery discussed the broadcasting of Church services, following on a conference with representatives of the Anglican and Presbyterian churches at which a desire to co-operate was

general. The Presbytery resolved that the churches confer with the Broadcasting Company and with the Postmaster-Gen-eral with a view to the organisation and control of the broadcasting of Divine Services from the public stations. A committee was appointed with newer to act.
