WOOL SALES
LONDON PRICES SUSTAINED. (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, September 23. At the wool sales there was a fine selection of merinos and New Zealand slipes, and a limited supply of other sorts. The keenest competition prevailed and a splendid tone ruled. Prices were fully pjaintained. New Zealand sales: “Howard,” 241 d to 23d; “Murchison,” 45d to 43d. Bradford spinners are showing rather more than interest. Crossbreds are firm and merinos rather easier; 64’s realised Told; 56’s, Sold; oO'a, 28d; 40’s, 22d; 40’s, 21d. —A. and N.Z.
