A large and enthusiastic audience witnessed the final demonstration concert at the Town Hall on Saturday evening given by the competitors in the Wellington Competitions. The Mayor, Mr G. Troup, during the evening presented the medals and cups to the various prize winners. CHAMPIONSHIPS. Elocution: Ladies, men and boys, no award (all of equal merit). Girls, Graeie Kerr, 24 points.
Vocal: Ladies, Mrs Julia Schmidt 21 points. Men, Rev. George Yule (Mangapai) 24 points.
Piano: Miss Agnes Wright 13 points —Press Assn.
