REVOLTING CRIME
INSTIGATED BY GREED
PARIS, August 11
A mysterious affair is engaging the best detectives in France. The bodies of three young men were found scattered in a field adjoining Paris, one shot thrice in the skull, another shot five times and the third lying some distance from the others. It has thus far been .ascertained that two Czeeho-Slovakian students recently arrived in Paris with a considerable sum of money. It is believed that an acquaintance lured them, with the aid of an accomplice, to the field and murdered them. Thereafter, it is believed, the murderers revisited the field and quarrelled, one being slain, which, accounts for the third body found being further removed from the others. The survivor, it is thought, obtained possession of the dead men’s baggage from a Paris hotel and decamped.
