AIRMEN'S REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE. PARIS, May IC. A strange accident occurred at the i Villa Coublay aerodrome. At a height of .1000 feet, an aeroplane ran into an air pocket. The fall jerked the pilot from his scat, but the para-! chute he was carrying immediately | opened. [ Meanwhile, the mechanic remained, in the 'piano, but was unable to con-1 trol it, so he, too, jumped out and the two airmen glided to safety. The aeroplane nose-dived and was completely destroyed.
