TERRIFIC EXPLOSION
DELIBERATE PERPETRATION,
(Received I p.m.) ADELAIDE, This Day.
A sensation was caused at Strathalbyn, 40 miles from Adelaide, when a terrific, explosion wrecked three offices. The noise of the explosion was heard for miles around. Houses were shaken and windows smashed. No injuries are reported, but there were several narrow escapes.
A man was seen to place a parcel on the pavement, set fire to part of it and then walk quickly away. Ho was later arrested.—A. and N.Z.
