BOWLING TOURNEY
CARLTON WIN PINAL. AUCKLAND, This Day. For the second year in succession the Carlton team of bowlers: Clarksbu, Coutts, Ball, and J.Truscott, yesterday, won the final of the Auckland Bowling Centre’s Christmas tournament.' It :s noteworthy that Truscott also won the championship in 1922, and on that occasion had Clarkson and Ball in his team. Yesterday the title-holders met Wyatt, Kirk, Cater and P. J. Scantelbury (Auckland) and defeated them by 23 points to 14 on the Epsom green, under difficult playing conditions.—Pros* Assn.
