TOWN BOARD ELECTION. AUCKLAND, This Day. Mr W. R. McKean, S.M., upheld a petition lodged and declared the election of the Howiek Town Board void. Two nominations had been wrongfully rejected by the returning officer as deposits of £3 each had not been lodged, this being unnecessary. A fresh election will be held. —Press Assn.
