DEFINITE SPLIT AVOIDED. CONCILIATION PREVAILS. (Received 9.10 ami.) LONDON, June 9. The “Daily News’* states that a Liberal split has been averted, the Oxfordians and Lloyd Georgians accepting the resolution of the Liberal Federation, not only expressing confidence in Lord Oxford but, at the request of the Lloyd Georgians, expressing the hope that Lord Oxford would inspire all Liberals in the direction of vigorous social reforms.—Sun.
