CANADA’S STATE SHIPS
AN IMPROVED POSITION. (Received 2 p.m.^ OTTAWA, May 3. Considerable improvement in the operating position of the Government merchant marine is shown in the annual report tabled in the House of Commons today. The operating loss has been reduced, according to the report, by 492,826 dollars, or 34.20 per cent, compared with 1924, despite the serjous depression in shipping business during 1925.—Reuter.
