BUTTER AND CHEESE
Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram frt.m their London house, dated the 18th inst:— Butter—The market is very quiet. We quote New Zealand salted at 174/; Danish butter, 196/; finest Australian salted, 166/, unsalted, 168/. The total imports into the United Kingdom for the mouth of January, 1926, were 673,000 cwt as compared with 541,000ewt for the corresponding period last year.' . Cheese—The market , is very quiet. New Zealand, white, 99/; New Zealand coloured, 102/; Canadian finest September make, 110/.
