Latest society gossip anticipates the early announcement of Prince Henry’s ' engagement to Lady Mary Scott, : " daughter’of the Duke ..of Buccleuch. Prince Henry has recently frequented the Duke of Buccleuch’s various country seats, where he has been seen more often than at Buckingham Palace. Lady l Mary accompanied Prince Henry to Sandringham shortly after Queen Alexandra.’s- death. She is v unaffected, pretty and buxom. Her age is 22. She resembles a country lass more than a society woman. She is a brilliant conversationalist. It is pointed out that the marriage would provide a third Royal Mary.—-A. and N.Z.
