FOOLISH RISK
GUN CARRIED BY BAEEEL. AUCKLAND, This Day. Sidney Dwyer, aged 2C, employed as a porter at the Ilowick Hotel, carrying a gun by the barrel, was pursuing a wounded rabbit when an undischarged cartridge was exploded. The shot penetrated Dwyer’s right arm, which was badly torn. He was taken to hospital, where his right forearm was amputated.—Press Assn.
