j TO SWISS VENTURE 1 FOR DISARMAMENT CONCLAVE. LEAGUE DIGNITY INVOLVED. (Received 11.13 a.m.) GENEVA, February 16. Russia has failed to induce Switzer, land to resume normal relations, there fore the former will not attend a dis armament conference on Swiss soil.
The newspapers appeal to the League of Nations not to yield to Soviet pressure to hold the conference outside Switzerland, asserting it has made the maximum concessions compatible with its dignity.—Sun.
