THURSDAY TRADES V. KAMO, ... Although neither side had a full team,' quite an interesting game was played between Kamo and the Thursday Trades Club at the High School grounds on Thursday. Kamo, batting first, registered 56, of which Dunn and Lett made the most. East bowled with great success, taking all but one of the wickets, and troubling all the batsmen at times. Tupp and East both batted well for the Trades, although both gave chances. Pilkington and Morey shared the wickets. Paced with a first innings deficit of 21, Kamo succeeded in putting together S 3. Of this total A. Morey •contributed 34, by steady cricket, and Lett 1 helped .with a nicely played 21. Hill was the most successful trundler, keeping on the wicket all the time. The Thursday Traders made the required 59 for the loss of four wickets. Tupp put together 34 in fine style, and was unulcky in being run out both times.
