CAUSED BY~MUSXCIANS. , EXTEA PAY DEMANDED. (Eeeeived 11.37 a.m.) LONDON, February 4. - Following on tlie Musicians’ Union’s intimation to the British Broadcasting Company that the union’s members refuse to play for entertainments relayed wirelessly unless paid extra, the Birmingham station yesterday proposed to broodcast five minutes’, laughter of an audience watching a film. The orchestra members announced that they would walk out unless paid five shillings each for music played during the broadcasting.—A .and N.Z.
