An action of divorce was recently called before Lord Ashmore in the Court of Sessions at the instance of Georgina Helen Kirkpatrick or Tennant, of Hyde Park Square, London, against Lieut.Colonel John Edward Tennant, D.5.0.,M.C., F.E.G.S., Scots Guards Reserve of Officers. • Lieut.-Colonel John Edward Tennant, the defender, who was horn' in 1890, is the eldest son of Mr. Francis John Tennant, the second surviving son of the late Sir Charles Tennant, the father of the Countess of Oxford and Asquith. , Colonel Tennant was educated at Eton and the Royal Naval Colleges at Osborne and Dartmouth, and served as a midshipman from 1908 till 1910, when he became second lieutenant in the Scots Guards.
